Apple discontinued the iPod product line on May 10, 2022. Apple sold an estimated 450 million iPod products as of 2022. The first version was released on October 23, 2001, about 8 + 1⁄ 2 months after the Macintosh version of iTunes was released. Usually commercial software or games are produced for sale or to serve a commercial purpose.The iPod is a discontinued series of portable media players and multi-purpose mobile devices designed and marketed by Apple Inc. Even though, most trial software products are only time-limited some also have feature limitations. After that trial period (usually 15 to 90 days) the user can decide whether to buy the software or not. Trial software allows the user to evaluate the software for a limited amount of time. Demos are usually not time-limited (like Trial software) but the functionality is limited.
